Founded in 1919 by the Feinbloom Brothers, Champion stands for authentic american athletic apparel ever since. From iconic activewear to the latest in performance workout clothes for men, women and kids, Champions signature “C” symbolizes authenticity worn by artists, athletes and creatives alike worldwide.
BEAMS on the other hand is one of these Japanese success stories every retailer looks up to. Changing the culture and customs of Japan’s youth since 1976 BEAMS is consistently crossing borders, genres and generations. It was only consequent that these two global players joined forces to merge their expertise into high quality products.
To continue their storied relationship Champion and Beams have came up with a new collaborative capsule collection proving to never change a winning team. The collection once again reinterprets Champions heritage activewear and turns it into a modern day aesthetic.
“It’s a collection we are very proud of. It perfectly showcases Champion’s rich sporting heritage and BEAMS’ strong Japanese apparel identity to update iconic pieces of men’s and women’s apparel. It is a collection inspired by our joint passion for designing modern classics — discerning pieces that modern urban nomads desire when they are on the move.”
The collaborative capsule collection contains reworks of sportswear staples such as track pants, hoodies and crewneck T-Shirts mainly sticking to shades of black white and grey with only key pieces in red and blue highlighting the collection.
